“Youtopia” is the first single from Wffls’ anticipated upcoming instrumental album Thanksluv: Pure Maple, Vol. 2, which is due for release on August 11th, 2021. Inspired by the paradisiacal feeling of oneness that we experience within truly loving relationships, “Youtopia” manifests sonically the idyllic bliss of deep connection after a year in which so many of us have had to go without it. With its dreamy Rhodes piano chords, hypnotic groove, call-and-response synth melodies and soaring strings, “Youtopia” feels like being on the beach with your soulmate and holding them in your arms while admiring a gorgeous sunset. As the first single from Wffls’ upcoming album, Thanksluv: Pure Maple, Vol. 2, “Youtopia” sets the tone and prepares listeners to join Wffls on the new musical journeys he has embarked upon since his last release.
